What are Restricted Listings?

  Restricted Listings gives you control over which products appear on which marketplaces. When you restrict a product from a channel, Listing Mirror prevents it from being created or sold on that marketplace. Any existing market listings on the restricted channel are automatically removed.                                                                                                                                                                    
                                              
  You can manage restrictions from two places: the Manage Listings page and the Channel Summary page.                                                                                                                               
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
  How to Restrict a Product from a Channel                                                                                                                                   
  1. Navigate to Manage Listings.                                                                  
  2. Select one or more products using the checkboxes.                                               
  3. Open the "..." dropdown menu and choose "Restrict from Channel".   
  4. In the modal that appears, select which marketplace channel(s) you want to restrict the product from.                                                                                                                          
  5. A preview will show how many active market listings will be removed and how many new restrictions will be created.                                                                                                             
  6. Confirm your selection.                                                                                                                                             
  Once confirmed, any existing listings for those products on the selected channel are removed, and Listing Mirror will not create new listings for them on that channel going forward.                                                     

                                   
  How to Remove a Restriction                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
  There are two ways to unrestrict a product.                                                                                                                                           
  (A) From the Channel Summary Page   
  1. Go to the Channel Summary page for the marketplace.                                                             
  2. Click the "Restricted" tab.           
  3. This tab displays all products currently restricted from that channel, including the date the restriction was created and who created it.                                                                                      
  4. Select the listings you want to unrestrict and click "Unrestrict Selected".                                                                        
  (B) From the Manage Listings Page                                                                                                                                                                 
  1. On the Manage Listings page, restricted products display a red circle-slash icon in the actions column. Hovering over the icon shows a tooltip confirming the restriction.     
  2. Select the restricted product(s).                            
  3. Open the "..." dropdown menu and choose "Allow on Channel".   
  4. Select the channel(s) to remove restrictions from and confirm.                                                                                       
  Once a restriction is removed, the product is eligible to be listed on that channel again.                  

                                                                                                                                                           
  The Restricted Tab                                                                                                                                                                                                              
  The Restricted tab on the Channel Summary page provides a dedicated view of all products restricted from that specific marketplace. For each restricted listing, you can see:                                                                                       
  - Product image and title                                                                 
  - SKU                                                              
  - Restricted date — when the restriction was created                                        
  - Restricted by — the email address of the user who created the restriction                                                                                                     
  This makes it easy to audit and manage restrictions for any given channel in one place.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
  Common Use Cases                                                 
  - Marketplace-specific availability — Sell a product on some channels but not others.
  - Regulatory or compliance needs — Prevent a product from appearing on a marketplace where it cannot be sold.                                                                                                                     
  - Channel onboarding — Restrict certain products while setting up a new marketplace connection, then unrestrict them when ready.

  What happens to existing marketplace listings when I restrict a product?                                                                                                                                                          
  They are automatically removed from the marketplace.   Can I restrict a product from multiple channels at once?
