How to resolve "The item specific FIELDNAME is missing" errors in individual listings or in bulk
What are they?
Each marketplace has Category Specific listing details that are required. Just like the appropriate listing category can be different between marketplaces, the required listing details can also vary depending on the marketplace.
Fix the "The item specific FIELDNAME is missing" error:
- Go to Listing > Manage Listings
- Search for the listing and click the edit icon in the marketplace's field.
- The error will indicate which detail is missing from the listing. Look for the item specific detail that is indicated in the error and enter the missing info.
- Save changes
Fix the error in bulk
This can also be done in bulk using the Missing Category Specific template. By downloading this spreadsheet you can view and resolve missing listing details.
- Go to Reports > Import/Export
- From the Templates menu, select the Missing Category Specific template.
- Click Download template
- The yellow cells in the spreadsheet are the required values. Review the yellow cells and enter missing info.
- After filling in the missing details, return to the same page and click Upload template.
