Future Dated Inventory

Overview

With Future Dated Inventory you can set a date in the future when you know you'll have inventory for an item.

Typically, when a listing has 0 QTY, a customer is unable to place an order for it. This feature allows customers to place orders for a product in advance of you actually having the inventory on hand. This is not the same as a "pre-order" feature on Amazon.

Before You Start

  • Listing Mirror will NOT send future dated inventory to non-Amazon channels.
  • Listing Mirror will only send future dated inventory for a SKU IF that SKU has 0 QTY in Listing Mirror.
  • Advanced (component) SKUs cannot be set up with future-dated inventory.

Step 1

Go to Inventory and select Future Dated Inventory from the menu.

Step 2

Click on Add New Item.

Last Steps

1. Select the SKU of the product you want to add future inventory.
2. Select the Inventory source for which the inventory will come from.
3. Enter the quantity of product you expect to have on-hand.
4. Select the Stock date that this product will be available.
5. Click the Add New Inventory Item button.
