Delete and reimport a marketplace listing to resolve issues.
It's important to make updates to eBay and Shopify listings in Listing Mirror as opposed to making changes directly in the marketplace since those changes will not be imported into Listing Mirror.
In fact, Listing Mirror will override those changes on the marketplace with the next synchronization.
But what happens if you've made changes on the marketplace by mistake? Or maybe you've made changes that caused the listing to lose its connection with Listing Mirror.
When to use Delete and Reimport:
- Changes were made to a listing in Shopify, eBay, or another marketplace, not in Listing Mirror.
- Changes that were made caused the listing connection with Listing Mirror to break.
The Delete and Reimport feature performs exactly as its name suggests. It deletes the listing from Listing Mirror (not the marketplace) and reimports it from the marketplace.
NOTE: This feature is not available for all marketplaces.
How to delete and reimport a marketplace listing
- Go to Listings > Manage Listings
- Search for the SKU and click the edit icon in the marketplace column
- From the Action menu, select Delete and Reimport
*Reimporting the listing may require some time to complete.
If the listing does not appear on your Manage Listings page within 24 hours, check the marketplace page (Listings > select the marketplace from the menu) for inactive listings: Activate inactive listings
